Florida Car Registration
All vehicles in Florida must be registered within 10 days of moving to our state. Your vehicle's registration consists of a tag, registration decal and a registration certificate.

Physically showing up to your local Florida DMV Office
If applying in person for a new car registration, you will be required to bring the vehicle titled in your name. You will also be required to show proof of your auto insurance.
If you are an out of state driver, you must fill out the certificate of title registration form..
Additionally, if you are currently in the U.S. Military and living away from Florida, you do not have to show proof of car insurance.
